Question
Sex > from runningweasel (20-somethingfemale)3 answers
When I'm intimate with my boyfriend, I'm rather -- loud. Not like, raucously loud, but just -- there's a lot of moaning and whimpering. It's not in pain. Far from it. But I have the feeling that my boyfriend doesn't like it. I mean, I also get the feeling he wouldn't tell me even if he didn't. But what is your experience with vocal noises during intimacy? Girls, do your guys like it? Guys, do you like it?..

As a guy, I like noises coming from the woman I'm trying to please. It means I'm doing a good job. Fake noises, however, can turn me off so much that I stop the intimacy altogether. ..
..
"Don't fake pleasure. I would rather be ineffective than deceived."..
..
If the noises are natural, and not faked, I don't think any guy will have a problem with them...

I've always thought of noises as aural encouragement and positive reenforcement (if you want to think of sex as training a dog.) Why don't you ask him? If it really bothered him he would care enough to tell you...
..
Anyway, I only make small whimpering noises. One guy called them "little lady noises," which I thought was cute. But personally I love it when a guy moans...

Many, many women are loud. It's perfectly natural to express your pleasure that way and no one should make you feel bad for it. ..
..
Unless there are people in the next room that you need to have consideration for, I say, let it rip. I do! ..
..
Since you are concerned about your boyfriend's reaction, however, I would suggest talking to him about it. I'd say something like, "It feels so good when you ... I just can't help but show you just how great it feels by moaning and making other noises." I wouldn't apologize for it, however. You really have nothing to apologize for. ..
..
I think most guys like moaning. It's a verbal sign that their woman is feeling pleasure and that is a compliment. I know my husband loves my noises. For that matter, I love his noises...
