Hey everyone. So I told you all about the guy that wouldn't give up. Well the night before last he decided to see just how much I really cared about him, by having people call me and text me that he had killed himself over me. I didn't know what to do so I called the sheriff and gave them his address and the numbers of the people involved. They got in a lot of trouble, and none of them have bothered me since. But for some reason now I feel super guilty like I shouldn't have that. Was I in the wrong?..

Try and keep your distance from these type of people, they'll suck the energy out of you ... just look they're playing headgames, calling and texting you ... and u'r thinking U might have been in the wrong???....
..
Wasting your thoughts and energy on people like that only detracts from positive things you could be focusing on .....
..
Try and find a better group of people to concern yourself with ... Good Luck...

Don't feel guilty. This jerk should be the one who's feeling guilty -- for disrupting your life, for manipulating his friends that way, and for being such a pathetic loser that he has to fake his own death in order to get a rise out of someone. Not to mention the guilt he should feel for wasting the time and effort of public officials...
..
You did exactly the right thing, my dear. Continue to distance yourself from these people, and do whatever it takes to keep yourself aloof and detached...

Angie and Scar are completely right. You don't need people like this in your life. It was a cruel joke to play on you, and they had time to evaluate the impact it might have had (devastating) before texting...
..
Clearly you've achieved a greater level of maturity than they have. Sometimes you've got to walk away from something familiar and comfortable (backstabbing friends) in order to find the kinds of people you can trust and rely on. These guys don't sound like quality friends (or people for that matter)...

Oh my, this guy is off his rocker. Don't feel bad, what those people did was just wrong. Please please be safe! Don't go anywhere alone until he is good and out of the picture...

Take this as one of life's lessons. There must always be clear boundaries. This guy seemed to have no idea and you finally provided it for him. You need not feel guilty in any way...
