My boy and I have been together for 3 years and although neither are particularly religious, we know we want..to get married. He was my first and I only his second and we've discussed the fact that if we do get married, for our entire lives, we'll have basically only have had sex with each other. We've discussed the idea of being with other people (with each other's knowledge) before we get married and while we are both open to the idea I'm not sure if either could go through with it...

Is it stupid to only be with each other? Is it stupid to "try" before we commit to each other? Anyone have similar experiences?..

i agree with a lot of things that outher posters have said. i feel it would be a disaster to sleep around while in a relationship and it is not a good start to a marriage. my advice to you would be to think aabout what you really want and have a talk with your fiancee if one or both of you really feels the need to have a few more experiences before you marry or you want to be with other people first im afraid your not ready for such an extreme commitment. Do you really love eachother enough to commit the rest of your lives tro eachother. my point is follow your heart. you could be risking a lot. but either way i wish you the best...
