I'd like to say that I'd rather hurt another than be hurt, because I like to cultivate that cool, callous, smooth, chrome-plated-heart persona. But in actuality, my heart is covered in plush microfiber, and I hate to hurt people. So this is a dilemma that's akin to asking me to choose which of my children to save from the sinking ship: I don't like to even think about it...

The thought of either one sends shivers down my spine. I can honestly say both are equally unthinkable. Though I can say that the times I have been hurt have been huge learning experiences for me. What is life without challenges and quests - we need a few scrapes and gashes along the way to truly be alive...

I think the answer to this depends on the person... In my dating history I am always the one getting hurt so for a change I would rather be the one doing the hurting. But maybe for some people they are the ones usually doing the hurting and that guilt sucks, well either way it sucks!..
