the spring, so I'm busy planning the wedding, but whenever I ask him to help me he finds an excuse or avoids it somehow. He seems so uninterested in the details - the cake, the band, the invitations, everything. i am doing it all myself. Do you think this is just b/c hes a guy and doesn't care about stuff like that, or is it a case of cold feet?..Vote:
from anonymous7 answersI have almost totally lost interest in sex with my husband. It's been months...show more
since we did it. He attempts every so often and I make excuses not to. Truth be told, I am pretty angry at him for a work situation he's involved in - working too much and not helping out around the house enough. Most nights he comes home from work, has dinner, helps with the kids' baths and bedtime, and then goes to sleep around 8pm. I've been lonely and resentful, so even when he makes an effort to reconnect with me ("date night" with wine and movies on the weekend or similar) I'm not in the mood at all. I've talked to him about my feelings but he thinks this situaion is unavoidable. So we're stuck. Do you think there's anything else I should or could do? I don't want to force myself to have sex w/him but I do feel guilty that I don't want to. At the same time, I feel like if he would change his situation (He could, but he won't) then it would trickle down to our whole relationship including our sex life. What do you all think?..

from anonymous6 answersI'm engaged to be married, and have two kids w/my fiance. We live together...show more
and we're pretty much married in all but the legal sense, you know what I mean? Anyway last night I went out to a bar with two of my girlfriends - I don't go out much at all anymore, but last night I did, and had a couple of beers, and I got chatting with this guy. OK, to be honest it was out and out flirting. He was really funny and we just clicked - had a ball flirting with him and it was just a really fun night. It made me feel sexy and appealing for the first time in a long time (since I usually schlump around the house in pajamas, you know?). So my question is, do I tell my fiance about flirting with this other guy? I don't feel guilty, and it never would've gone any further. It's not that I feel an obligation to tell him, but more like I want to share it w/him because it made me feel really good, and we talk like that. Would you feel weird or threatened if your partner/wife told you she'd been flirting with a guy in a bar and really made a connection w/him? And would you believe her if she said that nothing happened?..

makes me think of that Garbage song, "Only Happy When it Rains". If there isn't some kind of emergency, or traumatic experiences going on in her life or my life or one of our friend's lives, she can't deal. She seems to really need that adrenaline rush, or something. I am not like that, and frankly it's wearing me out. Is there any way I can get her to stop getting so caught up in all the drama?..
