Alright, so there is this sophomore at my school who could possibly have a crush...show more
on me. It seems very likely that he does. It all started when at the beginning of this year. He thought that I had a crush on him. At that time I didn't but, now I do. In my religion we aren't supposed to date before we are 16.(He shares religious beliefs with me) This sophomore's 16th birthday is on the 3rd to last day of school, which i like 200 days away. I'm a junior so i'm already 16. He always pats me on the back and finds excuses to put his arm around me for a few seconds. I have no idea how to handle this situation. I really like him but I don't know what to do. I don't think I can wait that long for him to be 16. This probably doesn't make a lot of sense... I just needed to rant about this for a second......

I both met a guy around the same time but we were both just friends with him. Then I started developing feelings for him, but I didn't pursue him because I didn't want to ruin the friendship. OK. So then a while goes by, and then suddenly I found out that my friend has been sleeping with this guy. She has been listening to me talk about him and how I have a crush on him for months now, but sometime in the middle of it he approached her and she hooked up with him. So they've been sneaking around behind my back, knowing that I'd be hurt, and not wanting to tell me. I feel really betrayed, because I trusted them both as friends, and they have been lying to me. I mean my friend was listening to me talk about my crush even while she was sleeping with me. But of course it wasn't like I was really being cheated on. What do I do? Can i be friends with either of them again? Or should I just write them both off? I'm so hurt...

Ever since I started dating my boyfriend over a year ago, my 2 best friends in...show more
the area have completely blown me off. I've tried planning girls weekends, weekends for them to come hang out and get to know my boyfriend, weekends for the 3 of us and our 3 boyfriends to hang out and I either don't get a response or get one last second that says "no."..I still try to call them, but it's trailed off, admittedly, because I never get anywhere. I really miss them and don't know what to do. They've each recently sent me really mean emails telling me that it's all my fault we don't talk and twisting all of the invites and caring things i've tried to do into these horrible attacks on them or ways of showing how little i care about them. ..
..I have admittedly, been really busy -- i was gone every weekend over the summer and have now taken on classes on top of full time work, an internship, a boyfriend, etc.That certainly affected how much I've been around, but everytime I am free they are the first people I contact to try to hang out or make plans. ..
..What do I do? How do I respond to these attack emails I've gotten?..

i just know randomly.Anyway i smsed him once than we had a thunderstorming series of smsings for like 1 week or whatsoever.But i was more than clear about my intentions to her and seriously i am one hundred percent sure about i have done no mistakes or nothing about explaining myself introducing myself......She was more than willing to keep the connection between us after the first few days.After i spoke with her friend who have introduced us to eachother I have learned that she had a half cut relation she still has in her mind and it would be pointless for us to go beyond because there would be no point.After learning that I decided to remove her from my mind/life for greater good of myself so i wouldnt be upset at the end but at the night i decided that she kept smsing me.That night i didnt answer but the next day after getting some advice i couldnt resist smsing her back and after all the times i asked her to go out and she didnt want this time she has asked me to go out.I accepted willingly and we had a great day sitting somewhere nice knowing eachother better.She than came my office to know my friends at the same day and she was speaking like '' i am feeling myself like a new bride who came to home'' or stuff like this.She was totally up for the relation i have supposed so we have go on 1 more week like this with hundreds of sms' and msn conversations.This week we have gone out another time to have another day which has gone perfectly till end.At the end she has told me some stuff about a dream she had and about her boyfriend.I played understanding non envying boy role as good as i could than she started asking me questions bout my ex relations and so on after we spoke a little she asked me if i still feel anything for anyone but i told her strictly that i only have ''that kind of intentions '' towards her.Than at that second She started that she doesnt want to hurt my feelings blabla kind of stuff and want to stay as friends with me.Tho as i was really honest i told her i dont have another space in my life for another friends and for this reason we couldnt end up as friends.She told me if i want to remove her from my life but i answered something like as long as u dont remove urself i wont have any special efforts to remove you from my life kind of stuff.She was willing to put me a title like friend tho i told her we were more of a date kind which she didnt agree and so on.Anyway i am ofcourse a bit disappointed and honestly i ofcourse care.Tho its not like end of world for me life still goes on perfectly well from my side.Tho i am curious of what to do if she wants to keep in touch..

Every year my office has a big blowout Christmas party at a local bar/restaurant....show more
Everyone can order anything off the menu, we always get lots of expensive champagne, it's a blast. Of course everyone gets to bring a date. This year I want to bring someone that I have never dated before - a friend of a friend that I've got a crush on and would like to get to know. Is it too awkward to take him to an office party, where everyone will know each other except for him? I was thinking that since it's such a fun, fancy party, that'd make up for it. What do you think? Last year was my boyfriend's and my first christmas together. I bought him...show more
a whole bunch of stuff - a sweater, a candle, some cologne, CDs, books, DVDs, etc. But everything he got for me was clearly from the dollar store - I mean, cheap-ass stuff like a set of drinking glasses with a seam down the middle where they'd been put together, a crappy alarm clock that broke the second time I used it, just junk, you know? It wasn't even "the thought that counts" b/c you tell that he hadn't thought about any of it, just gone out and grabbed some stuff last mnute. It really hurt. I'm not a materialistic person, but it just seemed like he didn't care enough to shop for me. so my question is, what do I do this year, I mean is there some way I can tell him politely or subtlely that I would really like him to actually put some thought into what he gets me? and maybe get me some decent things, even if he has to get less? He's not poor, either. I would happily give him suggestions but I really want HIM to make the effort, kwim?..

Over the weekend my ex drunk dialed me and was talking about how much he missed...show more
me and how he wanted to get back together and how sexy I am and all this stuff. I was like yeah, yeah, whatever, call me when you're sober, but i haven't heard back from him. I dont know what to think. I miss him a lot and would love to try again with him (we datd for over a year and just broke up a few months ago). But I don't know if he was serious or not. I'm sure he's embarrassed now. Should I call him? Ok here's the thing. This girl and i work at a grocery store, once we met...show more
we just clicked. We've known each other for about 7 months now. Now we are great friends and we both like each other. Everyone at work thinks we are dating even though we haven't been on one date. She's a senior in high school and I graduated in '07 so i'm about 3 years older. I am planning to leave on a two year mission for my church so i don't want to get into anything serious. We have talked for hours on the phone and she's come to visit me at work while she is heading over from school to a tech center and I've visited her while she was working. (I usually work morning shifts now and am off before she comes to work) She has told me about dating and she also said that her mom would be ok if we went on a date together, but I'm not sure if i should go on a date. ..Am i just being stupid and am taking this too seriously? Do you think I should go on a date with her?..
