..When I asked if he wanted to grab a bite sometime he said "we're there!"..Later when I asked if the next week or so was possible he said "sounds good!"..Then one night I texted him and asked if he was free for dinner the next night...He replied that he might have plans and could he let me know the next day...Fair enough - I didn't give him a lot of notice...He texts me the next day that he can't make it that night, but let's do it soon...I text back that lunch could work too depending on the day and he replies "Sweet! I'll let you know."..So it's been a week and I've heard NOTHING.....Am I to infer that his non-action is his cowardly way of telling me he's not interested?..Am I wrong to feel hurt and that this behavior is pretty rude?..

very cute. I like her a lot but I have no idea how she feels about me. I work at a very busy store where you are almost constantly busy so i haven't been able to just sit down and talk to her. When I talk to her a little while I'm ringing up groceries she smiles a lot and when i hand her go back she also smiles a lot as well. I haven't noticed her sneaking in any looks at me, sometimes she looks in my direction but it could easily be something behind me since the store is very open...
..I'm wondering if their is anyway to find out without being too bold. I wouldn't want to give her a reason to avoid me if she didn't want to go out. She also seems pretty shy, she doesn't talk a lot and I wouldn't want to scare her or anything.....

but remained acquaintances after that as he had a girlfriend. then we both retained in year 1 and got to be close friends over the course of the orientation period for the new year 1s during our second year in the school.. we even became classmates and i treated him genuinely as a friend then and didn't think much of it. in this 2nd year, his girlfriend broke up with him...
..we later joined a kayaking course together and at the end of that 3 days, he texted me to confess. however, i couldnt see myself with him at that time, only seeing him as a buddy. hence i rejected him. soon after (after a month)..i learnt that he confessed to another girl, and shortly after followed by a girl from our class. i was rather angry as i felt that he wasnt being serious about me, the 2nd and 3rd girl. after the issue was resolved, i became best buddies with him and he proved to remain faithful to the chase of the 3rd girl who was ambiguous in her reactions, until he met a new girl from outside of school that i have never met. ..
..he successfully chased that girl and are together in a relationship. however, as he tells me about the progress in his new relationship, about the incidences they go through and share about the various things he has done for her, etc, i started to fall for him as we do share friendly texts and phone calls, motivating each other to study. despite being a typical guy who appears insensitive, he is actually very caring and sweet to his girlfriend. he's funny, cute, sensible, and he makes me laugh. i have been trying to maintain my emotional distance and ignore the feelings i think i might have, but it isnt easy...
..whats the best course of action? i think that i should just forget him and meet new people, but we share plenty of close moments and have been often mistaken by schoolmates to be together. on top of that, his girlfriend has entered university, having graduated from our level (as we both retained)....

polite? I met this girl in one of my college classes after the teacher assigned pairs to work on an assignment, we talked during class and she smiled a lot. How would I know if she actually likes me or is just being friendly? ..She always comes into class a little late with a friend so I never get the chance to actually talk to her, and she leaves right after class is over. Is there anything I can do to find out if she likes me without making a fool out of myself? There is only like 8 to 10 people in the class and the teacher is very energetic. She is always with her friend and I don't see her any other times...
