Any hint of possessiveness or jealousy -- if they need to know where I am at all hours, or expect me to "check in" with them, or want to know the whos, wheres and whys of my social life, that's always a bad sign. Also (and not unrelated) anyone who feels the need to spend every waking (and sleeping) moment with me, and wants me to feel the same. Healthy relationships need and thrive on space, time apart from one another, and independent activities pursued by each partner...

If he makes fun of other people or laughs at cruel jokes, that's always a no no, because if you don't respect your fellow mankind, why should they respect you?..

The discussion of past relationships can reveal a lot...Does he talk bad about the women he has seen?..Is he bitter by a bad break up?..Is he best friends or still in love with an ex?..Or does he consider the women of his past to be a growing experience in life?..(hopefully yes to only the last one)..

Huge red flags to me are his relationship with his family especially his mother...Also, how does he treat other women he doesn't know...IE: Is he nice to the waitress when his dinner is cold?..How does he react to stressful situations?..IE: yelling, throwing things, foul temper, etc are red flags...When he is out on the town does he ogle other women noticeably or is his attention on you?..
