Question
Big Crush > from anonymous1 answer
I met a guy I'd like to know better...We discovered we like the same restaurants...When I asked if he wanted to grab a bite sometime he said "we're there!"..Later when I asked if the next week or so was possible he said "sounds good!"..Then one night I texted him and asked if he was free for dinner the next night...He replied that he might have plans and could he let me know the next day...Fair enough - I didn't give him a lot of notice...He texts me the next day that he can't make it that night, but let's do it soon...I text back that lunch could work too depending on the day and he replies "Sweet! I'll let you know."..So it's been a week and I've heard NOTHING.....Am I to infer that his non-action is his cowardly way of telling me he's not interested?..Am I wrong to feel hurt and that this behavior is pretty rude?..

It could be he's being rude but it could be he has been busy. If you're still keen on trying to meet up with this guy, I suggest -- instead of texting -- you call him and ask whether he is free for dinner and give him two possible dates in a week or so's time. That way, it's not a last-minute. Also, texting is such an impersonal way of contacting someone, and it's much easier to read someone's voice than his SMS message. However, all this being said, it..might be that he lets you down; you should be prepared for this as a really possible scenario and..be ready to move on right away. Other crushes will come sooner rather than later!..
