A girl I've been interested in is moving into a dorm in a month. I thought it might be a nice gesture to get her something for her dormroom, but have no idea what to get her. Any suggestions?..

Is there a band she really likes? Or an artist? You could get her a cool poster. Or, flowers are always good. But for a dorm room -- I vote art...

Although the absolute all-time best present I ever got was a lap desk. I used it all through college for studying, painting my nails, and eating on. If you can find one of those at Barnes & Noble, or Bed Bath and Beyond or a store like that -- it's really a great, useful gift that she'll probably use for years and years to come. I used mine until it literally fell apart. I need another one...

I am agreeing with the poster or art idea...Most of the people I know who are in college would love more decorations for their room...I know I would have loved for soemone to buy me posters!..A few 10 dollar posters sure add up!..
